Flexible, Structured Recovery: Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
If you or a loved one is seeking treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD), our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Vero Beach Recovery Center offers an evidence-based, compassionate, and structured path to recovery—without requiring full-time residential care.
This 12-week outpatient program is ideal for individuals who need a high level of clinical support but also want to maintain work, school, or family responsibilities. It’s especially effective for those with a stable living environment and access to sober support systems.
Why Choose IOP at Vero Beach Recovery Center?
Our IOP is designed to provide the structure, accountability, and therapeutic depth needed to support sustained recovery. It offers:
-
9–15 hours of Group Therapy per week (minimum of 9, maximum of 15 hours)
-
1 hour of Individual, Couples, or Family Session weekly
-
Trauma-informed care tailored to each client’s history and needs
-
Co-occurring disorder treatment, including anxiety, depression, or PTSD
-
SMART Recovery education, focused on self-management and relapse prevention
-
Weekly random drug and alcohol testing to support accountability
-
Coping skills training, stress management, and relapse prevention techniques
Our clinical team uses evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and REBT, while integrating peer support and life skill development into the curriculum.
Evening Program for Real-Life Balance
We understand that your life can’t stop for treatment. That’s why our IOP meets in the evenings (6–9 PM), allowing you to:
-
Continue working or attending school
-
Stay connected to family and daily responsibilities
-
Apply your recovery skills in real-world settings between sessions
This evening structure supports those reintegrating into daily life while providing the tools needed to stay sober and emotionally stable.
Who Should Consider IOP?
Our IOP may be right for you if:
-
You’ve recently completed detox or residential treatment
-
You’re experiencing a relapse and need structure to stabilize
-
You have mild to moderate substance use concerns and strong community or family support
